Lacey Noel Day 100 of 100 Days of Makeup - Princess Leia - "Take Your Broken Heart and Make Art"

DAY 100 OF MY#100DAYSOFMAKEUPCHALLENGE. I'm going to end this entire series with how it began. I have been in a constant battle with my depression and my anxiety for the past few years. There was a time where I had dreams, and ambitions, though as I got older, and had went through difficult times in my life, I began to feel that person wither away. In the mirror, once there was this young, hopeful woman who had things going for her. The next thing I knew, I was staring back at someone I didn't know anymore. I had let myself go so badly. It wasn't that I was lazy, or was too busy to take care of myself, I just simply didn't care anymore. I didn't care about my work or anything, because I felt like there was no place for me in this world. No place other than rotting alive on the couch, letting everything I once was so passionate about go. Just waste my life away, existing and nothing more. When Carrie Fisher passed, there was this quote from her I kept seeing. "Take your broken heart, and make it art." Ive sewn my broken heart back together, made made art with it. This whole project is built upon fighting against what is tearing me apart on the inside. My mental illness had taken my art away, and these 100 days was my way of becoming myself again, becoming an artist again. I have put my blood, sweat, tears, heart and soul into this project. If you ever feel like you've got nothing going for you, and that there's no use in trying, this whole project is proof that you can. I can't thank you all enough for your love, kindness and support throughout these past 100 Days. It's been quite a journey. Although this series has come to an end, I'm proud to say that I've regained hopes and dreams, and my artistry. I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring. (Note: this look was inspired by the beautiful work of @raquelitagm)

She is too cute, and although she has only one lil scene in the movie, she is iconic. Also, I think this is my third Beetlejuice character this month! 💚❤️💚❤️ •
  I would NOT have been able to do this without @abracatrena who made this entire outfit. She is so incredibly talented, and I highly recommend you guys check her out!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

  For the skin, I used a combo of @mehronmakeup paradise paint Teal and Light Green. Then I accented it with Gonzo and Chaos from @urbandecaycosmetics Electric Palette. Brows are orange, red, brown and black mehron paints. Glitters are by @elektra_cosmetics and @patmcgrathreal. Lips are Lady Balls by @toofaced. Highlight is a mix of @katvondbeauty Sapphire and @urbandecaycosmetics Naked Luminous highlight. The wounds are made with cotton balls, liquid latex, bodypaint and @bennyemakeup Thick Blood.

(Actually, me lol. That's why I'm glad that this fur is FAKE!) ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️ This look is dedicated in loving memory of Destiny. She was a fellow patient in the hospital with me as a baby. We were diagnosed with the same condition, and we both underwent bone marrow transplants. Unfortunately though, she passed away at only three years old. 101 Dalmations was one of her favorite movies... I never got to grow up with you, but now you're my angel in heaven. I love you. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️ ZOOM IN!

  I used @graftobianmakeup Pro Paint in Shocking Pink Neon, now it says on the package that it's not intended for use on the skin, but I bought it, and I didn't want to waste money, so I used it. I DONT recommend it for body painting, however, it's supposed to be used for nails and hair. Weird, i know. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ I used @mehronmakeup paradise paints in black, white, light pink and red for detail, face, etc. •
  For the base of the face I used @bennyemakeup Clown White. For detail and shading I used Shax and Dagger from @katvondbeauty as well as Sapphire for the eyelid.

She is just so hot omg! I don't know what it is, but she is just so beautiful, and as catwoman?! I can't even deal!! 😻😻😻 I'm so sorry this is up so late! I had a crazy adventure today. So, I began getting ready at 7:00 AM, and then guess what. I RUN OUT OF MY PAINT! So I'm trying to find a store that sells my Mehron Paradise paints, and then I go over to @nigelbeautyemporium (bless) 30% done looking like a maniac lmao. But she's here! And also, I'm running on three hours of sleep, I took a nap in this bodypaint and so yeah. That's what happened! And note: EVERYTHING YOU SEE IS MAKEUP! (Well, except for the gloves lol) 🐱🐱🐱
